Costumes!   Enclosed you will find your balance due for costumes.  Costume balances are due by March 27, 2010.  Costumes will not
be handed out until balances are paid in full.   The final balance due includes everything; shipping/handling fees, alterations and all
accessories.  Any late payment will be charged an additional $10.00 per costume late fee.  Black tap shoes, black jazz shoes and pink
ballet shoes are to be worn for the recital.  
       
Cancellations!   If inclement weather arises, please call the studio at 863-7329 - we will update our outgoing phone message when a
decision has been made as to whether or not classes will be held.  We will also notify Channel 5 News who will put it on their website and
scrolling screen.  No credits will be given.  Please check the schedule and have your dancer make up the classes.   Keep in mind we are
not always cancelled when schools are closed!

Attendance!  Please keep up the great attendance!  All classes will now be concentrating on recital routines.  Enclosed you will find 5, 10
& 15 years of dance form which needs to be returned to the studio by May 1, 2010.  Trophies will be given to those students with 5, 10
and 15+ years of dance.  Congratulations to those dedicated dancers!

Create the Program Cover Contest!     Recital dancers will have the opportunity to create the recital program cover!  The name of the
recital is “This Is It”.  Please use your creativity and regular size paper and give us some amazing covers to choose from!   Stop by the
office and turn your program cover in.  The lucky winner will receive 8 free recital tickets and a DVD of the dance recital.  The NGD
staff will review the entries and pick a lucky winner.  The deadline for entries April 10, 2010.  Good Luck!!  (For recital dancers only)

Recital Dates!   Mark your calendars now for our 2010 dance recital to be held at Miami University –Hamilton Parrish Auditorium.  Dates
are as follows:

All dancers will be assigned a show color (red, white or blue) and will perform at the designated time both Saturday and Sunday.  We will
begin working on show assignments soon; therefore we need to know NOW any conflicts and/or relatives that need to be in the same
show (i.e.-shared grandparents).  We will do our best to keep families together, but it is not guaranteed!  NO CHANGES will be made
after shows are posted unless an emergency or our mistake.

Ticket Information!   Tickets will go on sale May 12, 2010 in the office.  Tickets may only be purchased if all dance fees are current!

Pictures!   Show and Tell Photography will be taking costume pictures at the dress rehearsals for the recital and competition performance
(as described below).  Your dancer will already be in costume and make-up so it will be the perfect time to capture the portrait.  Package
descriptions and prices will be available soon.

Spring Break!   The studio will be closed from Sunday, April 4th through Sunday, April 11th.  (Competition classes will be held !)

Competition News!   Next Generation Dance will host our 5th performance of the Competition Showcase.  This is your chance to see
ALL groups at one time!  Come and check us out!  Tickets will be available at the studio office beginning April 21st!  Hurry up – discount
tickets for all NGD dancers ($5.00) will go quickly.

Competition Team Summer Dance Schedule!   Classes will be held during the following weeks-line moms will contact you with

Summer Dance Camp!   Dance Camp will be held August 2, 2010 through August 6, 2010.  Dance Camp forms will be available on our
website and at the dance recital.  Please visit our website at www.cysdngd.com for further updates!  We are also planning on emailing
future updates so please make sure we have your email address!!
